Folker of the Week: She & Him
Last episode of Eat.Sleep.Folk. was a special women’s edition. It wouldn’t have been a complete without playing my favorite female vocalist Zooey Deschanel. Conveniently She & Him released a brand new song, which made my decision easy to make She & Him the Folker of the Week. Listen to the new song below. Can’t wait for their new record, Volume 3, to come out in May.

Zooey the Pooh
Zooey Deschanel will be contributing her musical prowess to three of the songs featured in the brand new Winnie the Pooh movie. I get extremely excited whenever Zooey releases new music and this will be extra special as she contributes to my favorite childhood cartoon. The movie will feature Zooey’s original tune “So Long” as well as her vocals on “Everything is Honey” and “Pooh’s Finale”.
NEW SHE & HIM VIDEO! directed by jeremy konner. choreographed by sophie olson. All our favorite dancers (many from our in the sun video!) and an amazing crew made this video happen! hope you enjoy!
I can only hope that Ben Gibbard and Zooey Deschanel make an album together one day, but the fact that they are performing together is pretty awesome.
Can it get any better than this??
